IN A NUTSHELL...
The Story: Director Danny Boyle and writer Frank Cottrell Boyce team up for this offbeat family film, about two young boys who get presented with a unique problem: how to spend millions of pounds before the Euro is introduced into the UK. With appearances by numerous patron saints and a Dickensian villain, this is every bit as much a Danny Boyle movie as 28 Days Later and Trainspotting.
UK Box Office: Β£1.455 million (as at 2nd August 2005)
Useless Fact: Frank Cottrell Boyce's script was originally set during the 60s against the backdrop of the Great Train Robbery.
