Ray Winstone is known for playing hardened characters and his role in Martin Scorsese's latest gangster epic The Departed is no exception. As crime boss Jack Nicholson's right hand man, Ray's turn as Mr French is all about brooding presence and brawn. The British actor who cut his teeth in Scum and Quadrophenia and has since enjoyed success with an array of film and TV roles, including Sexy Beast and Cold Mountain, tells us what he really thinks of Leonardo DiCaprio and what it's like working with the Godfather of Gangster, Scorsese.
