Iain Softley is not one for repeating himself. Since graduating from Cambridge in the late 70s and working for the Â鶹ԼÅÄ's documentary team in the 80s, he has made five diverse movies: Stu Sutcliffe biopic Backbeat (1994); teen computer drama Hackers (1995); Henry James adaptation The Wings Of The Dove (1997); sci-fi drama K-PAX (2001); and now supernatural thriller The Skeleton Key. The latter stars Kate Hudson as a nurse who gets drawn into the world of hoodoo whilst caring for a stroke victim (John Hurt) in deepest Louisiana...
