Crikey! Steve Irwin is on DVD, and it's worth a look mate if you want to see just how insane this guy really is.

TECHNICAL FEATURES

Picture Wow, you can see everything really clear on this disc, which is just as well, mate, 'cause when Steve is dicing with killer snakes so you can see their coloration - you don't want to miss a thing!

Sound When Steve asks if you can hear the croc snapping, you'll be answering yes once this 5.1 mix has taken a bite out of your speakers.

SPECIAL FEATURES

Croc Track Select this option and while you're watching the film, a subtitle track will feed you a relentless slew of information, including where you can find the deadly animals Steve is frolicking with. Presumably so you can avoid them!

Lights, Croc, Action! Seven behind-the-scene featurettes which are entirely worth watching for Steve's relentless enthusiasm and willingness to put himself in harms way:

Setting the Scene with a Killer Croc Steve works on preparing a scene with Charlie, the seriously angry croc. This involves sitting in a leaky boat while Charlie looms up eerily through the water to investigate whether Steve would make a tasty bit of tucker.

Lights, Camera, Croc Attack! The production of this film spanned from 2000 to 2002, such was the time needed for rehearsals. Here, Steve finds out whether the croc is ready to munch him. It would appear so.

Dicing With Danger Steve's got a dicky knee so sends in his mate Wes to jump over a creek with a mental crock that gets a little snap happy.

Up the Creek with a Croc Steve sums up the film shoot by explaining that, "we've got all this whizz bang gear and technology", before launching himself off in a sinking boat so that Monty the croc can try and take a chunk out of him.

King Brown Snake Shoot Steve comes up with a handy tip should you encounter the highly venomous King Brown snake - "don't move towards it". No problem, Steve! That doesn't stop him stumbling about with it in his grasp though.

Snake-sational Action Steve plans the scene with the King Brown, only to find that, as it's now shedding it's skin, it's suddenly a lot angrier than it was before. As the snake lunges for Steve, he chats away about just how dangerous it is.

The Deadliest Snake in the World Aptly known as the 'Fierce Snake', this mean critter decides to put the wind up the film crew by escaping from Steve and streaking towards them at high speed. What happens next? You'll just have to see.
