J-Lo toughens up as a cop in the thriller "Angel Eyes", now on DVD.
TECHNICAL FEATURES
Picture Fear not J-Lo fans, for our Bronx-tempered beauty looks as radiant as ever on this clean and sharp transfer.
Sound Some imagination has been put into this 5.1 mix, especially in the scene where J-Lo circles a car, only for her to slowly move around the speakers in your room.
SPECIAL FEATURES
Audio Commentary This is the only special feature on a DVD that otherwise doesn’t even have a trailer! It's not a problem though, as rather than have to sit through lousy featurettes where the cast discuss their characters, this commentary with the amiable director Luis Mandoki is far more interesting. He takes time to pay tribute to the now deceased cinematographer Piotr Sobocinski, and indeed is keen to praise the efforts of both cast and crew. He's particularly singles out J-Lo's efforts on the movie, and recalls how good she was jumping a fence in one stunt she insisted on doing. Apparently she had plenty of practice doing just that when she lived in the Bronx.
