Ken Bruce presents a special Friday Night is Music Night - 'One Brief Shining Moment', celebrating two giants of musical theatre, Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe.
Between them they wrote five of the most outstanding musicals of all time My Fair Lady, Brigadoon, Gigi, Paint Your Wagon and celebrating the 50th anniversary of it's West End opening - Camelot. With the sixty piece Â鶹ԼÅÄ Concert Orchestra, conducted by Larry Blank and starring Scarlett Strallen (Candide, A Chorus Line) Hadley Fraser (City of Angels, The Pajama Game) and Alex Bourne (Kiss Me Kate, We Will Rock You).
The concert will feature some of the best known musical theatre songs of all time, 'I Could Have Dance All Night', 'How To Handle A Woman', 'Almost Like Being in Love', 'Gigi', 'Wandrin Star' and 'Camelot' amongst them.
