A UK festival exclusive, Biffy Clyro are the second headliners to be announced.
Shouts of ‘mon the Biffy are sure to radiate across Reading and Leeds as the ferocious Ayshire trio take their rightful place on the Main stage.
Masters at producing enormous sounding rock anthems that combine tender lyrics with unforgiving refrains, the pounding guitars and rousing choruses of hits such as Bubbles and Mountains are instantly memorable. Influenced by Nirvana, Pearl Jam and Guns ‘n’ Roses, they now set the standard for the next generation of alt-rock trailblazers.
From humble beginnings in 2000 when their self–financed EP led to a record deal, the Biffy faithful have steadily been filling venues that continue to grow in size. With a tour at the beginning of the year showcasing latest, and first number one album Opposites, their 8th appearance at R+L is certain to be a momentous finale for arguably Britain’s best band.
