Fake tan and body builders, flat caps and old factories, #Â鶹ԼÅÄLocalPoets challenges the outdated clichés and celebrates all that is regionally distinctive about the North. In partnership with National Poetry Day, each poet has teamed up with their Â鶹ԼÅÄ Local Radio station to create a brand new commission on the theme of ‘Â鶹ԼÅÄ Truths’.
The Â鶹ԼÅÄ Local Poets are Jean Atkin, Alice Gretton, Theresa Lola, Molly Naylor, Nairobi Thompson, Timi Amusan, Warda Yassin, Jamie Thrasivolou, Kimwei McCarthy, Harry Gallagher, Jodie Langford, Jane Routh and Liv Torc.
