Journey from the gentle first notes of Mahler's First Symphony with spring blossoms and birdcalls to turbulent seas off the West coast of Scotland in Mendelssohn's Hebrides Overture ('Fingal's Cave'). Nestled in between: Schumann's Piano Concerto - a half dreamy love-letter to his beloved Clara.
