About this event
Â鶹ԼÅÄ Radio 3’s Friday Night is Music Night is all about melody and tonight at Fairfield Halls conductor Helen Harrison and the Â鶹ԼÅÄ Concert Orchestra have their feet planted in the streets and fields of British folksong. All the music has one thing in common – you can’t help humming those tunes!
Two of the Â鶹ԼÅÄ Concert Orchestra's brightest stars Ileana Ruhemann and Anne Denholm play Mozart’s enchanting Flute and Harp Concerto. There’ll be tuneful delights by Ruth Gipps, Hoagy Carmichael and John Williams, too - presented with style (and a smile) by jazz legend Clare Teal.
