About This Event

The orchestra鈥檚 second evening in Bilbao includes two works from Elgar. Sevillana, composed shortly after the break-up of his engagement when Elgar was only 26, and Cockaigne Overture 鈥� a musical portrait of Edwardian London.

In between, Walton鈥檚 haunting Viola Concerto performed by our Principal Viola Steven Burnard.
