Supported by Across The Line

SOAK, known to her friends as Bridie Monds-Watson, is an 18-year old singer/songwriter from Derry.

After receiving a mass of support for her track Sea Creatures at the tender age of 16, SOAK is living proof that age need not define artistic maturity. Despite spending the last two years split between her local skate-park, her studies and her songwriting, it is clear that the latter is where her heart truly stands.

SOAK has a raw talent for writing and when combined with her unique, easy-listening and melodic voice, it’s really no surprise that she’s been picking up some high profile fans since her rise in 2012. After picking up airplay across Radio 1 from Huw Stephens, Phil & Alice and as Zane Lowe’s Next Hype, CHVRCHES and fellow Introducing artist George Ezra asked SOAK to join them on their UK tours.
To find out what all the fuss is around this Northern Irish starlet, head to the Introducing stage on Saturday.
