The Â鶹ԼÅÄ Symphony Orchestra is delighted to welcome audiences back to Maida Vale Studios for a free concert as Ruth Reinhardt conducts music from across three centuries, from central Europe and Finland.
The concert opens with AntonÃn Dvořák’s pastoral and Bohemian dance-infused Fifth Symphony, and closes with George Enescu’s lyrical Sinfonia Concertante for Cello and Orchestra, performed by rising star and former Â鶹ԼÅÄ Radio 3 Young Generation Artist Andrei Ioniță.
Between the two comes the UK premiere of Footprints of Light composed by Finnish composer Lotta Wennäkoski whose Flounce was commissioned for the 2017 Last Night of the Proms.
