About This Event
Kate Atkinson is one of the best-loved storytellers of the 21st century – creator of Jackson Brodie, and a Whitbread and Costa Prize-winning writer whose novels turn a playful but always intensely perceptive eye on life, love and loss.
Today, the author of Life After Life, Case Histories and Behind the Scenes at the Museum, joins the Â鶹ԼÅÄ Symphony Orchestra to read from her own work, including Behind the Scenes at the Museum, Life After Life and her latest book Normal Rules Don't Apply, and share the music that has moved and inspired her. With a special guest appearance by actor and singer Jamie Parker.
Please note that the readings in this evening’s performance include themes of an adult nature and some scenes which may be considered distressing.
