The Gentle Good is the stage name of Cardiff-based songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Gareth Bonello. Taking influence from the traditional music and folklore of Wales along with a myriad of sources from all over the world, Gareth creates timeless folk music in both English and Welsh. A multi-instrumentalist that specialises in acoustic music, Gareth creates timeless new folk songs inspired by both the Welsh tradition and contemporary Welsh life. His music addresses themes of identity, social justice, environmental responsibility and the human condition. A soloist for many years, Gareth and his partner Jennifer Gallichan began singing together around the kitchen table and now perform regularly as a duo. Jennifer's crystal-clear alto adds a rich layer of harmony to Gareth's compositions, elevating them to new heights.
