Bringing more colour than the ribbon tower to Saturday's Park Stage comes California via Venezuala singer-songwriter Devendra Banhart.
The preeminent voice of the new weird america is sure to lighten the mood on day two at the Park. Always eccentric and eclectic in his arrangements, we can only be sure of a light-hearted look at the day and a particular sense of place amongst the ley lines and stone circle from the New York based singer.
A part-time artist and prolific collaborator, Banhart has worked with an impressive cast list throughout his eleven year career, most notably Antony and the Johnsons, Yoko Ono and Beck.
His last Glastonbury appearance included a glorious cover of Taylor Dayne's 1987 hit Tell It To My Heart. We expect 2013's return to reach equal heights.
