Jessie Ware
Sun 30 Jun 2013 John Peel Stage
Totally devoted

Sometimes festival highlights jump off the page as soon as the line-up is revealed. This is one of those moments and there is no doubt that Jessie Ware’s Glastonbury debut will be an incredible experience for artist and crowd alike.

The South London singer’s first album Devotion was one of the picks of 2012 and the success of singles such as If You’re Never Gonna Move (previously known as 110%) and the goosebump inducing Wildest Moments has even prompted a re-release of the LP in the shape of a gold edition.

For a singer who started out performing backing vocals for Man Like Me and Jack Penate to an artist with a Mercury Music Prize nominated record under her belt, the sky is the limit for Jessie Ware.

Prepare to be enchanted by a voice that should be as cherished as those belonging to Emeli Sande, Adele and Jessie’s tour partner Laura Mvula.
