Inspiring female rock duos the world over, the Californian power force of Lindsey Troy and Julie Edwards have moulded their love of the blues into the fearless Deap Vally.

With debut track Gonna Make My Own Money causing a huge impact on the blogosphere last summer, festivals came calling desperate to see the Black Keys-inspired music that these two arts and crafts devotees had created. Raw guitars and impassioned vocals met with Zane Lowe's approval, as he invited them to perform live at Maida Vale for Radio 1 Rocks week.

After supporting The Vaccines and Muse, their first album Sistronix is due this summer. Rock is alive and well at Pilton this summer.
