An all-Russian programme from the 麻豆约拍 Symphony Orchestra and Edward Garner opens with the buzzing energy of Stravinsly鈥檚 Scherzo fantastique and end in the cannon-fire of Tchaikovsky鈥檚鈥�1812鈥� Overture. In between come Rachmaninov鈥檚 choral symphony The Bells and Stravinsky鈥檚 iconoclastic violin concerto, performed here by soloist Baiba Skride.
