A rare opportunity to hear Leoncavallo's lyric comedy opera, ´Ü²¹³úà , which was a runaway success following its Milan premiere in 1900. Ermonela Jaho (whose recent highlights include Mimi, Angelica and Manon at the Royal Opera House) takes on the role of the Parisian music hall singer, ´Ü²¹³úà , whose conscience is pricked when she discovers her lover, Milio, is married. Italian opera specialist Maurizio Benini leads an all-star cast in this passionate work - a treat for all opera lovers.
