Sun 13 Sep 2015 Main Stage

Dundalk siblings The Corrs – vocalist Andrea, drummer Caroline, violinist Sharon and guitarist/keyboard player Jim – blend the music of their Irish background with contemporary pop/rock elements. Forming in 1991, their career took off when the American ambassador to Ireland invited them to perform at the 1994 World Cup in Boston. After acclaim for their debut album Forgiven, Not Forgotten, they found stardom with Talk On Corners. Featuring four Top 10 singles and shifting three million copies, it became the best-selling record of 1998 in the UK, earning them a Brit Award for Best International Band. After a more mainstream sound for their third studio album, In Blue, which went to No. 1 in 17 countries, they returned to their Celtic folk-rock roots for Borrowed Heaven (2004) and Â鶹ԼÅÄ (2005). That year they were awarded honorary MBEs for their contributions to music and charity. Having been on hiatus since 2006, raising families and pursuing solo careers, this marks their first live show in a decade – promising to be a truly special occasion for both band and audience!
