Brand-new music from two leading creators of British jazz - 麻豆约拍 Radio 3 New Generation Artist composer/saxophonist Trish Clowes and 麻豆约拍 Concert Orchestra Associate Composer/world-class postbop trumpeter Guy Barker - is at the core of a concert that melds the distinctive approach of the jazz writer with the rich orchestral sound-world.

Expect new commissions inspired by London and Norma Winstone鈥檚 phenomenal vocals framed in arrangements of classic jazz standards, including Steve Swallow鈥檚 Ladies in Mercedes. Trish Clowes also presents new tracks from her hotly-tipped forthcoming album, first in a set with her quintet - including Mercury Prize-nominated Gwilym Simcock - and then in collaboration with the orchestra.

This concert is part of the EFG London Jazz Festival.
