German composer Beat Furrer challenges soloist and orchestra in his virtuosic Piano Concerto. Italian Francesca Verunelli uses a detuned piano to destabilise our ears in Tune and Retune, and Øyvind Torvund takes us on quirky walk in a forest, complete with birdsong.
