    There's some SERIOUS talent across England and the Channel Islands - and we've loved showcasing it this weekend.

    But we don't just want to give people a platform to show off what they can do, we also want help with the journey there!

    Over the weekend we've run workshops over Zoom with experts in comedy and writing, featuring fantastic artists like Mark Olver (who's worked for shows such as The Last Leg and 8 out of 10 Cats).

    HUNDREDS of you took part - and we hope you've learned loads!

    We can't believe it - but the final day of the Upload Festival 2020 has arrived already!

    Because of lockdown we decided to go online and we started a journal where we opened it up to submissions from all over the world and showcase their work. I was really worried that we were only going to get a few submissions but we had over 300 from places like the US, India, Sierra Leone.

    Abi Clarke said her follower count has "gotten out of hand - I have more followers than sense now. It's been a mad few months but it's really exciting!" after taking her comedy online on platforms like TikTok.

    "A lot of my stuff is obersvational, it comes from conversations I have with friends or situations I've lived through myself, embarrassing moments, that kind of thing!" is what Abi said about how she creates her comedy.

    She uploaded her video "New Year, New Me" to Upload on 鶹Լ Radio Bristol and got her work showcased on air and also by the 鶹Լ Comedy and 鶹Լ One social media channels.

    We're getting ready to bring you the very first Upload Festival.

    The festival site is being built - and the final preparations are being made!

    We've got a great line-up of new comedians and writers to share with you.

    The weather has been pretty terrible over the festival site for the last couple of days - but the forecast is looking better - so we've got our fingers crossed for a brilliant weekend.
