Mahler 1

Nicola Benedetti needs little introduction. Since winning Â鶹ԼÅÄ Young Musician in 2004 she has been wowing audiences worldwide, as well as more recently being the face of Â鶹ԼÅÄ Music’s Ten Pieces project.

Continuing his exploration of Mahler’s symphonies, Thomas Søndergård presents Symphony No. 1; with its large orchestra and use of German Lied, Mahler’s epic symphony provides the grand finale to our 2015-16 season.
