Let the Â鶹ԼÅÄ Symphony Orchestra and special guests take you on a thrilling, family-friendly journey through music with pieces from the Â鶹ԼÅÄ Ten Pieces project which has been introducing children across the country to classical music. The programme will include John Adams’s Short Ride in a Fast Machine, ‘Mambo’ from Bernstein’s West Side Story, the first movement of Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5, Gabriel Prokofiev’s Concerto for Turntables and Orchestra with DJ Mr Switch and the magical finale from Stravinsky’s The Firebird.
