A stellar line-up of female musicians assembles to celebrate International Women’s Day under the baton of Principal Guest Conductor Xian Zhang.
Â鶹ԼÅÄ National Orchestra and Chorus of Wales with children’s choir Côr y Cwm, perform the world premiere of Speak Out by Kate Whitley. The piece was commissioned by Â鶹ԼÅÄ Radio 3, and is set to the text of the 2013 UN speech by Malala Yousafzai, about the right of every girl to an education.
