About This Event
Join Dan Walker at Â鶹ԼÅÄ Maida Vale Studios in London as he hosts an evening of music, poetry and reflection to mark Good Friday, the day that Jesus died.
Selections from Karl Jenkin’s The Armed Man: A Mass for Peace will be performed by the Â鶹ԼÅÄ Concert Orchestra, London Philharmonic Choir and the Â鶹ԼÅÄ Radio 2 Young Choristers of the Year 2017, Rafi Bellamy Plaice and Ischia Gooda.
Dan will also be joined by singer-songwriter Beth Rowley and MOBO award winning grime and rap artist, Guvna B.
In the year that marks the 100th anniversary of the end of World War One, the event will explore the theme of peace-making and will feature personal stories from people doing extraordinary things to bring about peace in the modern world, shedding new light on the Good Friday narrative.
