A big voice, big tunes and big fun too, as Clare Teal joins maestro Gavin Sutherland and the full Â鶹ԼÅÄ Concert Orchestra for a Friday Night is Music Night at the funfair. Clare needs no introduction: she’s the Yorkshire-born singer who’s made a name for herself as the first lady of British jazz.

Tonight she’ll be singing songs from the Great American Songbook. And as we enjoy all the fun of the fair(ground), there’ll be bright lights, candy-floss melodies and orchestral fun and games. Saunter down Mayfair with Angela Morley; take a spin on a roundabout with Phyllis Tate and hear Julius Fucik enter the Big Top. For Laurie (The Avengers) Johnson, meanwhile, what happens in Vegas very definitely doesn’t stay in Vegas.
