Toes will be tapping as Mexican conductor, Carlos Miguel Prieto, joins Â鶹ԼÅÄ NOW to kick off the new season with flare, featuring works from his home country.

Highlights include Danzon No. 2 by Arturo Márquez, inspired by Cuban dance and his visit to a ballroom in the Mexican state of Veracruz, and ³§±ð²Ô²õ±ð³¾²¹²âá by Revueltas, based on the poem of the same title by the Cuban poet Nicolás Guillén.

We also welcome back Â鶹ԼÅÄ New Generation Artist Eivind Holtsmark Ringstad to perform Walton’s Viola Concerto, a piece that confirmed the composer’s position as one of Britain’s finest.
