The second Chelmsford Art Trail runs from 12, September through to 20, September, but work is already well under way to make the event a true celebration of the county town's artistic talent.

Organisers Interior Angle are calling on sculptors, photographers, painters, film-makers, conceptual artists and print makers from across the borough to submit examples of their work for consideration before 12, April.

If successful, a selection of works will form part of the trail at venues across Chelmsford during the middle week of September.

Soo Turner, from Interior Angles, says the trail is a great way of showcasing the local creativity: "We have so many exciting projects for everyone to get involved with and have ambitious plans for the trail.

"We aim to bring the London art scene back to Chelmsford and celebrate the high quality work being produced for the town."
