It may be Julian and the team of reporters, travel, weather and sport presenters behind the mic, but it's 'Julian's People' who really make Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Solent's breakfast show the South's favourite.

Julian's show has introduced a range of characters who the South have taken to their hearts.Μύ Our 'Julian's People' slot brings you the amazing stories of southerners like Dee Caffari and Rhys Jones, before they hit the national headlines.

A hallmark of the show is the Newsmaker Line - listeners regularly suggest their own stories and raise the issues that matter in their street or community. Whatever the bureaucratic bungling or consumer rip-off, Julian can get the answers from the decision-makers, bosses and politicians.

After 8.30am each weekday, it's the lifestyle slot with advice from top local experts - and the team 'road test' the latest products to hit shelves.

The show regularly leaves the studio and hits the road - whether it's dropping in for breakfast with Daisy Appeal fund-raisers, or heading to France to investigate the pitfalls and benefits of moving abroad.

Alongside all that, you'll get the most up to date traffic and travel live from the ROMANSE centre in Southampton and our studio at the Bournemouth International Centre.Μύ There's a round-up of the latest sports news and regular weather checks plus a guide to what's on with the Information Exchange.

Julian's first break with Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Local Radio came in Sussex but he moved back to his roots to join Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ Radio Solent and set up home in the New Forest.Μύ "After the show it's great to head out and walk the dogs, enjoying the views over the Solent over to the Isle of Wight.Μύ It's a fantastic part of the world to live and work in."
