Does anyone know of a web site (or book) that has an extensive collection of photos of Schliemanns finds at Troy?

Sorry to inform you that the so called treasure of troy is just a bunsh of artifacts put together by Schlieman.. they were found at various places of the site believed to be troy...

I wish you the best of luck finding what you are looking for, the treasure is currently in moscou, but I am pretty sure you knew that..

    FREDERIK is right !

SCHLIEMANN couldn't find anything worth while in " Troy"
and his ( utensils"treasury" was bought from various antique Shops.

At Mycene however he found golden masks of" Agamemnon" 1.000 years before that man's lifetime.

In analysing the Mycene find something strange
    happens:

    He found 5Golden masks !
    All were squashed or flattened
the lining was missing(the holes that held the skul-lining were empty

Helena briefly mentioned that the Skulls of " Agamamnon" falling on the Floor should be tertieved for posterity but Schliemann had a bad back or did not bother.

So " Agamamnon's body " was never retrieved
his stone coffin thrown into other debris and his
golden or gilt War gear as a general officer?Gone!

No other royal artefacts acompagnied these TORN Death masks.

( Sir-)MICHAEL WOOD wrote a book after the FILM- Series" WHERE - TROY - ONCE- STOOD "( in 1997.)That seems eona ago !

I am supprized that no other reader remembered that historical TV- Show !

I discovered thatScvhliemann's TROY was ONE of FIVE Copies of New-Troy after the Trojans left the burning mother-City

But when I contacted ( Mr.) Michael Wood several years ago in: 1992 about a remake using my new information,
Namely that TARUS/ Taurusia were the 'original' TROY a word derivation or infection from it's supposed founder" TROS "

and that it is now 20 meters under mean-Sealevel.
Because HOMER mentioned a LOW Citaldel only 30 meters above then mean Sealevel !it has risen 50-meters since !
Meaning that IF Schlieman found Troy in 1869-71 Above present sea-Level than it is the Copy !

    TROY hype is over:
( Mr.)WOOD, was too busy with another history series about Asia/ india and had abandoned his" Troy" series.

He even advised me by email, to look for any other independant film- company that would Publish my new Scenario, but the American" HallMark" of fame Film-Compant declined the issue as" Non Important".

    Sic transit gloria mundis !

Maybe you had not noticed but slightly above your Troy- THREAD, are TWO other TROY- THREADS
I cannot recall having seen your guest-name there. . .

    Sincerely
    " Plato's Atlantis " dd Dec.2008 ( TU-Delft, Holland.)

    PS,
FREDERIK, did you get your tongue caught ?
where is YOUR comment on this Post-issue ? ? ?

    Re: Message 5.

    PlatosAtlantis,

I had already by your mentioning of your "TU-Delft" a vague rememberance that I have seen you before overhere with the same type of odd messages? But now while you are adding "Holland" I am sure. Last time (some years ago?) you have explained why you wrote in such a strange style but now I forgot it. Not that my "writing" is that much better...

    Warm regards,

    Paul.
