Wonderful find. Would there be any change of ascertaining who he was though? If he was a high ranking warrior, as the grave artifacts seem to indicate, there may be some record of this individual.
Sorry, always helps to proof read before bushing the button. That should be - any chance of ascertaining who he was?

Unfortunately it's very unlikely that the identity of the man will be discovered but it's unusual to find a complete boat burial on the mainland although Ardnamurchan is about as close to being an island as it's possible for a peninsula to be.
There have been other complete boat burials found, mostly in the Orkneys and Shetland, this is one of the most spectacular
The boat and its contents cast a rather different light on the Vikings demonstrating that they were much more than raiders and pillagers but settlers, agriculturalists and traders and that women could hold considerable status in their society. The relationship between the three occupants of the boat is open to multiple interpretations and sadly, there's not enough DNA left to look for a family link. Maybe one day though.
They will probably be able to tell where he was born from the teeth discovered in the grave.
Sad news.
Many thanks ferval and Haesten.
