I have been looking through the pages via the British Library "Turning the Pages" website
Does anyone know if the digital versions available online are an accurate representation of the real book?
Nice link. The pages shown will be accurate, I feel sure, except I suspect that not all of the pages in the book are shown.
Thankyou for sharing the link beethovenspiano, absolutely brilliant.
I've spent hours admiring the on-line artwork from the Book of Kells and each time I find something new to wonder at, I'm sure this link will provide as many hours of fascination.

It's breathtaking isn't it? I have to admit i'm a bit obsessed with this book lol. The carpet page introducing St Matthews Gospel is one of the most stunning pieces of art ever made in my opinion.
