I noticed the book Chronology at the Crossroads: The Late Bronze Age in Western Asia, 2007, by Bernard Newgrosh in a bbokshop recently.

A quick glance and looking up on the web shows that it is following some earlier books in suggesting that the established chronolgy for the late bronze age is in error. Notably he claims to deal with the question of the Assyrian King List which it was claimed was 'unbreakable' and with some of the critigue of 'Centuries of Darkness'.

I wondered if anyone has either read it or got more information on the book and the response to it?

    Tim

You will Find Bernard Newgrosh is a member of the New Chronology Group, on Yahoo.

I have not read his book but we have debated certain theories put forth by Bernard.

    Regards, Wickerman

Dr David Rohl tries to emulate Dr Velikovsky witout mentioning his predeccessor's name.

His New-Chronology is based on earlier findings by the Revised-Chronology of Dr V.

The revised Chronology with 500 nonexisting but scrap-filled-up years inbetween 1500 and 1000 bc
seems to me okay as an amateur-Egyptologist, but
Dr David Rohl reduces the 500 years to 250 years without the good arguments that Dr V. proposed.

OTHER Deviant resarchers are: Dr GUNNAR HEINSOHN from Bremen -University and Scholar DAMIEL MACKEY who independedly discovered that the Third Babylonian Dynasty( dd 2200/2000 bc did not exist and is a mirror immage of the Persian-Dynasty by a forgerer of unknown motives( dd 539-333 bc.)
