Did anyone else notice the error in "Digging for Britain"'s episode on the tudors. The expert at Greenwich palace said Henry VIII married his last wife, Anne of Cleves, and later referred to her as his 5th wife, when in fact she was his 4th wife, his last wife being Katherine Parr. I am surprised that the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ did not notice this glaring error in an otherwise excellent programme.
Didn't see the programme myself but I know several other people on other baords have picked up on this too
didn't he have 6 wives?
Catherine of Aragon
Anne Boleyn
Jane Seymour
Anne of Cleves (she was the 4th)
Katherine Howard
Katherine Parr
Bang On!
I am watching this series for the second time and am now looking at the details. I am amazed to see how close they are to history even in minor things. For example in any close up, they never show the Duke of Suffolk's face clean shaven; there is always a little stubble, because they did not have Gillette's razor blades in those days.
