Ancient Greece? Sparta? I’m trying to do a project on the Spartans in about 420bc, but am failing dismally to find out basic things like trade links or maps, any suggestions?

Try Paul Cartledge's the Spartans as well as broadening your search to the Pelloponnesian League and the war with Athens that was just winding down after its first phase. The Spartans were not famous for their trading activities, more for their soldiers and system of government. One major obstacle to Spartan trading interests was the fact that they relied on iron spits as a form of currency when the rest of the Aegean wanted either Silver or Gold.
