    Hi all

I thought that I would officially announce that I have found the real historical person behind Arthur and others from his time. I will now just confirm and explain some of the actual relationships as I have found but I will not as yet reveal who they were as that must wait for the book.

First and foremost Arthur was a Briton and eventually a King. Arthur is a title not a name.

Vortigern was a title not a name. Both he and Arthur had a common ancestor. Hence the early conflicts between Vortigirns side of the
family and Ambrosius'. The two family lines were united later when Vortimers daughter married Arthurs son. There were actually two Vortigerns (three if you count the welsh Tradition of Voritgern II, who I also know the identity of)

Merlin was Arthurs uncle. He was the easiest to find. No great huge books needed to explain it. Once you know who Arthur and Vortigern are
    it all fits in perfectly.

Mordred was Merlins son. Mordred was a very evil character. Gildas actually knew Mordred and wrote of one of his evil crimes in his lament.

Guinevere was not Arthurs wife but his daughter. She may have been mixed up with Arthurs second wife by ancient historians. The mythological arguments between women linked to Arthur is between daughter and step mother. There is a river in Wales named after a sister of Arthur.

Arthur had at least two children. His line continued on and many people today will be related to him. Geneaologies will have to be re-
    written.I am working on these.

Ambrosius was Arthurs uncle. It is amazing how much GOM got right in his writings but I will admit he did hedge his bets somewhat. After
this data is revealed GOM will be taken a bit more seriously.

I am an amateur historian so I dont kow how seriously I will be taken.I need this information to be verified by a known respected Historian of the period. If you are reading this and can help please do not hesitate to contact me.

I have contacted the British Museum historical dept and a couple of publishers but am waiting to hear back.

If you are reading this and know any of the major authors such as Peter Beresford Ellis, Chris Snyder, Geofrey Ashe ect can you let them know about this.

This data is so explosive and important to the history of this country that it really needs a team of researchers on it as everything will
have to be re-written. It woud take me years to do it. Although I have identified the main characters there is so much more to do. The
events, battles and movements will have to be co-ordinated with this new data.

Other discoveries include the identity of Hengist and Horsa, when and where exactly they arrived etc. Also the real historical identity of Kynan ap Keradag and possibly also of Eudaf.

Also the meaning of Pendragon, where it came from, when the first historically known Briton used it and who they were. (not Uther).

I have found so much. But how do I get academics to confirm it?

    Regards
    Dane

    Hi Pete

We only know their names. They are not mentioned in any historical records before comming to Britain, or so historians think. I though have found who they were, where you can find records of their exploits, who they fought, who sent them to Britain and why.

Were'nt they the sons of Wihtgils, a Jute Chieftan, whom Vortigen hired as "mercenaries", in return for assistance, Hengist became the first King of Jutes in Kent?

You may want to have a quick look at this that I found.

In very ancient times Egypt was once called Aturti/Ethurti.
This translates from ancient Egyptian to "the land of Arthur"!

Also this word is closely linked to the River Nile along with the tales of Arthur themselves.

Also, Arthur's city of Camelot can be matched with the Egyptian word Kamelet, which means the "People of Egypt"!

There has not been that much evidence found for this idea yet, but it's definatly worth a look.
