I need some plans I can adapt and build of an ancient greek warship. If anyone knows of any tell me.

There aren’t any authentic plans. The Greeks rebuilt a trireme a few years back, based on descriptions, pictures on vases and archaeological excavation of ship-building sheds to get maximum measurements. What they came up with was called the Olympias. I don’t know whether any plans of that are available on the web. There may be as I believe the first crew was mostly recruited from British rowers.

Tim Severin also had a ship built for his recreation of the Jason voyage, but I cannot recall what the design was based on.

Sorry, that probably isn't much help.

You could try contacting the Trireme Trust who were the ones who built the Olympias. She's a 4th/5th century Athenian trireme, and became a commissioned ship in the Greek Navy in 1987!

Just to clarify - are we talking about a full scale war-galley, here, or just a model?

(Personally I'd love to see a reconstructed Roman Liburnian - now those were lovely vessels...)
