I just read an article about the discovery of King Tut's tomb & it mentions that his 2 stillborn daughters were found in his tomb. This is the first I've ever heard about his having children. Were these children the product of his marraige to his half-sister or were concubines part of the Eygtian royal household? Is there any record of their birth? Did his wife/sister have any other children besides these? I know she dropped out of the historical record not that long after his death. Does anyone have any further information?

The children were his sister's children and his. They were born still born because of the king's cripple...I can't remember exactly what it was he had but his spine was bent and he needed a cane. Because of his inability to make decent children, archaeologists say his wife may be a suspect in his murder because she wanted to have a child.
