Hi Susilove
I'll give you a sensible answer as none of the others seem to be of much help!
The British Museum is rather vast, and it does take quite some time to see all the collections. In fact, I have been many times and never seen all of them, but that's mostly due to my liking various areas. If you want to seriously see as much as possible, I would you could see it pretty well in two or three days, or longer if you like to take your time and look at everything.
As for my favourite part, I really like the Roman, Anglo-Saxon, and medieval collections, as well as the Rosetta Stone and the Akkadian/Babylonian collections. I have never really been round the Asian/Far East collections so I cannot really comment on them.
As for tours, I've never been on any but they do have audio tours (where you listen to recordings) in different languages, and they also have guided tours. You should find details on their webiste:
Hope this helps

Thank you for giving me respectful answer.
Roman part, sounds great ! I'm interested in that
period too.The histroy of Gaius Julius Caesar was really exciting for me.Especially relationship between Caesar and Antonius.
Are you a professor or docter?
Or have you been major in some history?
I'm none of them. I'm just a big fun of history.
But whether you are professor or not,I want to have a relationship with people interestrd in history through the internet.
Good luck
I see. I feel secure now.
First I was really disappionted ,I thought I'll

By the way, where are you from?
Hi susilove,
I am from Texas in the USA. You will enjoy London. There are many museums and places to visit. Plan on spending as much time there as you can manage.
Cheers, Matthew.

Ohiogosimas susi,
Try here.
Matt.
Hello Susi,
When you visit the British Museum I would recommend that you visit the South America gallery, it has some wonderful statues. The Egyptian section is always incredibly busy, but must be seen! You might enjoy the Babylonian and Assyrian sections too. (Yes, I have spent entirely too much time in the BM)
