The Spirits Moved Me!!!

    I live a few blocks away from the famous Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, and every weekend I go and just sort of wander through it.

    Two of my favorite rooms are filled with statues, and they are lighted and placed in a very theatrical way. One room is in the Asian Wing and filled with statues of Buddha and other "spiritual" deities, and the other room is full of Egyptian statues.

    Sometimes when I sit in these rooms I get a really mystical feeling and actually get "ideas", and I really believe that I am getting some kind of mystical guidance from these spirits that live in or around these statues...

    Has anyone had a similar experience with objects from the past?
