    Re: Chemica.
With respect to all concerned; as far as I understand the REICH designed and built a Chemical Warfare Production Plant at Birkenau between 1941 and 1943. The 'gas' to be produced was SARIN 'nerve agent', which was first developed as an idea and indeed a copyright 'design note' between 1934 and 1937. The 'nerve agent' was apparently available in bulk with a practical delivery system for the opening of the KURSK Offensive in 1943.
As far as I understand the ALLIES were aware of this fact prior to the Offensive; purportedly because a 'field agent' or 'espionage agent' of SIS / MI6: codenamed REBECCA had penetrated 'vos Strasser / OKW KOMMAND'.
As far as I am aware the 'system engineering' and 'production drawing suite' was completed at Bremahaven under the direction of Kreigsmarine Alt Ad. Donietz. It should be noted that Gerald Richard Donietz was born in Denmark and was related to the family of Building Contractors who founded DANCON; famous for completing the Kiel Canal on time and on budget. They were partly responsible for the works at Birkenau; according to REBECCA.

My question is: Why was SARIN not used during the KURSK Offensive? Or was it?

    David,

excuses I see now that you are not the Dutch contributor from Delft while you pronounce "Kreigsmarine" instead of the right "Kriegsmarine".
"vos Strasser" and even not "von Strasser" When I read "Strasser there rang a bell about the history of Nazi Germany and indeed I was right:

Gerald Richard Donietz don't exist, but perhaps you meant Karl Dönitz but he was born in Grünau in Östenreich.
As for "Dancon". I found something in relation with Denmark in the Dancon march but nothing in relation with building societies.

I don't mention the link anymore, because in some way I hit the "bad word" Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ filter, while (already the second time) each time that I returned to my window of "Preview/ Post message" my reply was gone.

I wonder why I do all these trouble, while the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ don't want to see my message...
Also with the Rebecca in relation with DΓ΄nitz I came up with the Rebecca von Lahnstein. I don't try to insert the URL for not loosing a third time my message.

I wanted to say that it was an interesting question but Γ  part of the words Reich, Sarin and Kursk it seems to be all fiction.
Yes and I forgot it is Bremershafen and not Bremahaven.

Hoping for not have lost my time, regards,

    Paul.

    Re: PaulRyckier.
With respect; Gerald Richard Donitez was refered to as K.AR.L Donitez by a number of people who perhaps should have known better.
For the record; Kreigsmarine. ARMOR ROR. Leunante. Donitez otherwise written as K.AR.L was the equivalent of a GRADE 1. Naval Artificer. RN. At base level an engineering draughtsman. His speciality was 'naval gunnery' but his true metier was submarine design and build as seen at Bremahaven.
To check; please note his NDSP CARD Membership no. and note his place of birth, his nationality and his attend; inotherwords his father's relationship to the Danish Contractor / DANCON ie. how much family money he had at his disposal...
