The Queen is at BP today to unveil a new memorial.

BP always worth a visit, especially now the Tunny display is up and running.

Not before time, either, but I am glad that some of the BP workers and code-breakers are still alive to see their invaluable work celebrated!
I was lucky enough to go on a guided tour of BP with a group of people. Our guide was one of the original Wrens who worked there, so at a conservative estimate that would put her in her early 80s, and she was a mine of information. What's more, it was a hot day and we were beginning to flag a bit, whereas she was as fresh as a daisy! After working at BP she was sent to Sri Lanka to work on Japanese codes before the end of the war in the East. A most interesting lady!
Do go if you can. The ticket lasts a year and you can visit as often as you want in that time and just have to pay to park.
