    "Here are some stories of evacuees from Guernsey, their ages at the time of evacuation and a snapshot of their experiences in Scotland."

    For some who may be interested in this stories of people who were evacuated in 1940 and just returned in 1945, because the Channel Islands were occupied by the German Forces for five years. In a childrens lifetime a long time.

    These are short stories and by click on the letters in blue colour (see the "Experience" box) the page opens to read the whole of these short stories.
