  You mention your own "facts"? Which ones? Wiki or several respected historians?
  
  And why is there some magical conspiracy going on because different sources mention Jews being murdered- which they were- in differing but still large amounts?
  
  So there's lots of jewish 'lying' which goes 'hand in hand' is there? You sound LIKE some dangerous right-wing nut with a knee-jerk reaction and no back-up sources? What's new?

  This lying about Jewish figures goes on everywhere. Using the US Holocaust Memorial Museum figures, approx. 8 Million Jews lived in what was to become Nazi-Occupied Europe. They then say just over 2 million Jews in Nazi-occupied Europe survived the war. In the December 1981 Issue of the Canadian Jewish News, an article mentions that over 4 million Jews had signed up for German pensions granted only to those survivors of concentration camps!

  No-one really knows the true figures, all of them are presented as estimates. Yet form three different sources who probably also used different estimates you manage to conjure a Jewish conspiracy?

  To me, it's very simple. If only ONE PERSON in any persecuted group is killed deliberately by the state just for being a member of that group - an accident of birth - that is sufficient to condemn that state.
  
  Arguing over numbers killed is completely irrelevant.

  Two million, four million? Obviously each is a tragedy to the victim, family and friends (and humanity). But it doesn't make the killing state any less evil because they didn't reach some arbitrary figure of 4 million.

  The lying does indeed seem to go on. Your source for example is lying about 4 million Jews signing up for the BEG (the scheme discussed in Canadian Jewish News) - the scheme is open to ALL concentration camp survivors, not just Jewish ones, and is also open to victims of forced labour (many of whom weren't Jewish). So to claim 4 million Jews survived based on that is, at best, plain wrong.

  As this is a blatantly racist comment the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ would be within its rights to remove cythera's post and/or the whole thread. But I hope they don't as it's a good example of the kind of cr*p being circulated around the web by holocaust deniers
