    Was watching Blood diamond the other night and the film seems to be based on these animals, tried googling info on them but havent got much.

    Was just wondering if anyone can give me a bit information on them, what political route were they looking to go down? What was their aims?

    If they ever did come to power how could a bunch of sadistic mad men run a country?

    Whilst not having seen the film, you still raises two questions, which I'll give my attempt at answering.

    Power! As is your own implied answer in the second question.

    Look at any dictatorship, military, political or religious run, and for how long such have been around!
