Any other RTW fans out there? Have you worked out how to play all the factions? Macedon is my favourite: a nice, compact area to begin with, good troop types, temples of Artemis and Ares plus they wear black! For my money, the Armenians have the best troop types of all (cataphract archers!), but they are severely hampered cos they can't build pavd roads.

Hi Catigern son of the King of the Britons Vortigern,

I'm a MIITW fun but I like all the TW series and I'll buy a copy of RTW becouse it seems good.

    Hi Alexander,

I have only played RTW, Barbarian Invasion and the Alexander campaign. RTW is older and less slick than most other TW games, but I prefer it.

I have a few complaints, though: heavy cavalry, elephants and chariots are far too powerful in RTW, and RTW has Gaius Marius emerge and reorganise the Roman army in about 240BC. Roman cavalry is too good in the game, imho; I think it should be their weakness except when they hire 'barbarian' mercenary horsemen.
