Does anyone at the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ know if the stories posted to the "People's War" archive are still going to be retained online after any 'cuts' to the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ's website are implemented, please?
It was not totally clear about what the reductions to the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ website were going to involve when it was announced in early March. This archive took a lot to set up and I know it is still widely used by school and university students as a good, reliable source of some information about the war. The majority of the stories and photographs posted were made by volunteers and so it cost the Βι¶ΉΤΌΕΔ relatively little to collect this, possibly unique, online archive.

A very good and timely question.
Perhaps we can get an answer from the Bebe?
Best regards
Ron

Hi both,
It is very early days as the cuts have only just been announced. However there has been no mention of WW2 People's War being taken down.
Many thanks
Andrew
